'Chrysanthemum World champion' rises to no.5 on Hillenraad100

On Friday 31 October the annual Dutch Hortigala took place, where the famous Hillenraad100 of 2014 was presented. The Beekenkamp Group, to which Deliflor Chrysanten belongs, has definitely settled itself in the top 10. In 2013 we entered this top 10 on nr. 9. This year we continued our way up to a nr. 5 position! An achievement which we are proud of.

Some passages from the jury report:
“The two billion young plants that grow here peacefully, easily find their way to international markets. It is precisely that calm that explains the impressive rise in the top 10.”

About Deliflor the report said:
“Deliflor was able to achieve  strong growth in a shrinking chrysanthemum market. Clearly smarter than its competitors. In any case, Deliflor is somewhat a ‘chrysanthemum world champion’ with its exceptionally wide range. Note the successful Anastasia and the introduction of the promising Pixel.”

The Hillenraad 100 is the list of the 100 leading companies in the horticultural sector. This year the theme was ‘accelerated innovation’.
